- Jason’s Hometown Hogfan Party is an old fashioned fundraiser featuring a spectacular Pig Roast! Our super Grand Raffle includes an Apple iPad, a Trek Bike donated by The Bike Rack, a 42 inch HDTV, $500.00 cash prize, and a $250.00 Gift Card to Ream’s Meat Market in Elburn! Our returning popular Hogwheel game will be the featured entertainment with gift cards and cash prizes of $50 and $100!

Our mission is to raise money to support leukemia and lymphoma research in memory of Jason Gould who battled leukemia and a secondary viral related lymphoma after a bone marrow transplant. Our goal is to help bring cures so that others might survive these dreadful diseases.

Friends of Jason Gould, Inc. has chosen to raise funds to support the innovative work of a team of cancer researchers at The Ohio State University. One of these research scientists, Dr Rob Baiocchi, has attended each of our previous fundraisers. He spoke about the importance of groups such as ours in raising money to support their efforts since funding in general has been cut dramatically in the last few years. He shared with us that our donations have helped his team develop new cancer treatments which have directly saved lives! We have raised and donated over $250,000.00 to Dr Rob and his research team!
We are elated to know that our donations are being used by Dr. Rob with such incredible results and that he personally oversees every dollar that we raise. He will once again be attending and speaking at Jason’s Hometown Hogfan Party on September 22nd. He will personally thank all of us and explain how our effort has helped in both research and in directly saving lives!
Dr. Baiocchi will join us again this year to update us on their work.
